Freedom For All Says Brown

Gordon Brown, who is not yet Prime Minister, has promised to protect civil liberties by jailing anyone who tries to defend them. In an speech made this morning while no one was watching, the soon to be but not quite there yet Premiere announced a series of measures that would 'secure Britain from any sense of freedom and democracy whilst maintaining a feeling of freedom and security'. These include arresting and detaining anyone for any length of time, keeping information on anyone through any means and following anyone at any time and also all their friends. Civil liberties campaigners said that it was in the nation's interests that Gordon should be able to do what he wants.

The year's at the spring,
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hill-side's dew-pearl'd;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven-
All's right with the world!
